I didn't really guess who was behind it until late in the book, and I don't think there were enough clues in the manuscript to let us know. In fact, I grew tired of reading each one's thoughts about loving the other but "how I really shouldn't love" him/her. THREAD OF REVENGE Coldwater Bay Intrigue by Elizabeth Goddard When marine biologist Sadie Strand returns home to find out who killed her friend, shes drugged and left on a sinking boat to die. I never really grew to care enough about them to root for them as a couple. Love Inspired Suspense brings you three new titles Enjoy these suspenseful romances of danger and faith. Neither of the two main characters "sparked" with me. and they're only engaged at the end of the book not married.Other than that though, I can't really say I enjoyed the plot. It does make it more believable to me that the two could fall in love and be engaged in the time frame in which this book takes place-I still think that it's a bit too soon and they probably should let the adrenaline wear off a bit before committing to a lifelong commitment like marriage-but hey, this is fiction so. There's also a set up that Gage has had romantic feelings for Sadie previously-though it didn't sound like she returned those feelings in the past. I liked that the main characters had a friendship history prior to their meeting again in this book. I've read other books by this author though I think most were not published under the Love Inspired Suspense series. This book was in a box of books sent to me by a friend.
